Utility Design
Water, sewer, and utility layout with coordination and conflict resolution.
Utility design is the part of a site plan that has to work with everyone else's — water, sewer, storm, and often gas and electric all competing for the same trench space. Getting the layout right the first time avoids conflicts that are expensive to fix once construction starts.
I supervise sanitary and water layout planning across a range of project types, including force main pump system design where gravity flow isn't an option, all coordinated to meet health and safety regulations and utility provider standards. That means resolving conflicts between utility lines during design, not after a contractor finds them in the field.
The objective is a utility layout that's coordinated, code-compliant, and buildable without surprises.
